Dr Puneet Batra is a Gold medalist during BDS and an MDS in Orthodontics from the prestigious AIIMS New Delhi. He is the recipient of the PP Jacob award as well as the JG Kannapan award by the Indian Orthodontic society. He has been awarded the prestigious Commonwealth scholarship at Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children London as well as the TC white award in Dunddee dental school Scotland. He is an MOrth from Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and an FFD Orth from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He is a DNB in Orthodontics and has done PG Diploma in Hospital Management, PG Diploma in Medico Legal Systems, PG certificate in Oral Implantology. He is a Fellow of World Federation of Orthodontics, International college of Dentist, Pierre Fauchard Academy and International College of Oral Implantology. He has more than 70 publications in national and International journals. He is a member of National Academy of Medical Sciences. He has lectured extensively in India and abroad as invited speaker. He is an executive member of the Indian society of cleft lip and palate and craniofacial anomalies. He is the head of the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and PG Guide at Institute of Dental Studies and Technologies, Modinagar.
