He completed his M.S. from Mumbai University in 1971 and passed FRCS from Edinbourgh in 1975. He underwent training in Urology at Cambridge University Hospital at Addenbrook. He is a practicing Urologist for last 31 years. He is a member of Urological Society of India and Societie Internationale Urologie (S.I.U. ) In 2008 he was elected President of Mumbai Urological Society.
