He did his mbbs( 1998-2003) from maulana azad medical college (mamc) ,delhi which is among the  prestigious colleges of india and did his md ( 2005-2008)-internal medicine from dr rml hospital ,delhi. Following post graduation  worked  for a significant period in the department of gastroenterology and internal medicine in rml hospital . Also worked as incharge of art clinic at the same.
