Dr. Chaturvedi worked as Professor since 1954 and retired as Principal of the K.G.M. Punarvasu Ayurvedic College - Mumbai, where he was also an advisor and mentor of Ph.D. research scholars. Ex-Member of Board of Studies and faculty at Bombay University, and Examiner for various Universities across the country.He was appointed as member of governing council - National Academy of Ayurved by the health Ministry, Government of India.He has written twenty-four books on Ayurveda.
