I have 13 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Having completed my MBBS from North Bengal Medical College, I have done my DGO training from Medical College, Kolkata, following which I did speciality training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the United Kingdom. After attaining my CCT (certificate of completion of speciality training), I joined the NHS, UK, as consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.One of my special interests is in high risk pregnancy. I effectively manage pregnancies complicated by maternal medical problems, twin pregnancies, and fetal problems such as growth restriction etc. I am skilled in performing difficult vaginal deliveries, conducting labour and performing caesarean sections.I have done advanced training modules in Maternal Medicine, Advanced Antenatal Practice and Advanced Labour Ward Practice during my training in the UK.I am skilled in performing diagnostic & operative laparoscopies, hysteroscopies and open abdominal surgeries. I am also trained in minor gynaecological procedures, managing chronic gynaecological ailments such as pelvic pain , endometriosis etc , and medical termination of pregnancy.I believe in providing holistic care to my patients, and working in partnership with them, towards a healthier future.
