Sandhya Luther is a trained and experienced meditation instructor with a strong personal practice. Meditation, or mindfulness can be used as a complementary practice to therapy and healing or can be utilsed as stand-alone practice for emotional healing, personal growth. It is useful for understanding and overcoming habitual patterns and addictions, healing difficult emotions and relationships, gaining greater and deeper understanding of one’s own mind and developing resilience, managing stress, recovering from loss and grief, understanding trauma, and addressing deep-seated fears, anxieties and trauma. Sandhya’s approach is based on a somatic (body-based) approach to mindfulness. She finds that meditation can be skillfully applied on one’s life even if one does not have any “religious belief” or spiritual tradition. She also incorporates her years of working with domestic violence, gender and sexuality (including lgbtq issues) and internalized oppression into her work.Mindfulness can be used by people of all ages, backgrounds, and professions. While she works with each individual’s needs and particular background, she has created the following modalities: MSAR (Mindfulness Support for Addiction Recovery), REST (Resilience Training), FAST (Focus and Attention for Sports Training), ESP (Executive Stress Programme), MYR (Meditation and Yoga Programme) among others. She works with both individual and groups.Sandhya earned a Master of Divinity degree in Buddhism from Naropa University in 2002 and has lived and worked in Germany, Italy and the USA You can book an instant appointment with Ms. Sandhya Luther on Timesmed.com.
