Dr.Prashant Garg

Prashant Garg completed his basic medical education in 1987 and specialization in ophthalmology from RNT Medical College Udaipur, Rajasthan, in 1992. He served as ophthalmologist in two private sector hospitals for three years before joining LVPEI's Cornea and Anterior Segment fellowship in 1996. He joined as faculty of the Institute in 1997 and since then has progressed steadily in his clinical and research career. He has over 60 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals to his credit, and has presented in various forums across the world. He has been principal investigator for several clinical trials and is reviewer for ophthalmology journals, such as Cornea, Ophthalmology, Eye, Current Eye Research and British Journal of Ophthalmology. In 2004, he received the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Achievement Award. His specialization is infectious diseases of the cornea and anterior segment, and eye banking procedures.
