Dr.Rajesh Puri

Dr. Rajesh Puri, a trained Endosonologist, has established EUS in North India and helping its spread across the entire country by training and live workshops. He is presently the Director of Institute of Digestive & Hepatobiliary Sciences at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurgaon and specializes in Endoscopic Ultrasound, diagnostic and therapeutic diseases of digestive, liver and pancreato-biliary. He graduated from SNM College, Jodhpur, University of Rajasthan with Distinction in Forensic Medicine in 1994 and post-graduation in General Medicine in 1997. He completed his DNB in Gastroenterology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi and was awarded with Gold Medal by the Honorable President of India. Besides clinical work, he holds keen interest in academics and research. Dr Puri has numerous publications and presentations in national and international forums to his credit. He has received Young Investigator Award by APDW (Asian Pacific Digestive Week). He is a Member of Asian EUS Group and Governing Council of SGEI.
