Soon after her graduation she worked as a lecturer cum dental surgeon at RAMA Dental College, Hospital & Research Centre, Kanpur, in the department of Pediatric Dentistry. Next she worked as a Dental Health Officer at DTR Hospital, Mundgod, Karnataka.
