Dr Sameer Anand graduated from MKCG Medical College, Berhampur in 1993. He started his surgical training in Calcutta under Prof M.S. Ghosh at Kothari Medical Centre. By 1995 Dr. Sameer Anand went to UK for foreign exposure in Orthopaedic and Spine surgery. His first venture in the UK was at Nevill Hall Hospital Southwales under Dr. I.G. Mackie. He has an advanced training in cardiac and trauma life support and was also a member of the disaster management team. He also grabbed the opportunity and worked for Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport and Broomfield Hospital as a Staff Grade Surgeon. He completed his AO Course from Leeds. Dr. Sameer Anand joined Dr. H.N.Bajaj at Indian Spinal Injuries Centre where he has been a part of the Spine Team ever since. Dr. Anand has a keen interest in Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery and has the credit of using Ozone in Prolapsed Disc Surgery.
