Dr.S. Shanmugasundaram

Dr. S. Shanmugasundaram is an Emeritus Professor of Cardiology and had served as an Assistant Professor and Professor of Cardiology at Stanley and Madras Medical College. Presently he works as a full time consultant at Billroth Hospitals, and available between 10 am and 6 pm from Monday to Saturday for consultation by prior appointment. He is an adult cardiovascular specialist with expertise in pulmonary hypertension, heart failure, cardiomyopathies and coronary artery disease. He is capable of performing and interpreting echocardiography. He has proven his expertise in cardiac interventions like angiogram, angioplasty,valvuloplasty, pacemaker implantation, catheter closure of congenital defects in adults etc.
