Dr. G Shanmugasundar is one of the leading Endocrinologists in Tamil Nadu. He completed his MD (General Medicine) and DM (Endocrinology) from the prestigious institute, PGIMER Chandigarh. He has received many awards and medals for academic excellence throughout his career, such as the Tamil Nadu Dr. M G R University Award for topping the University in Anatomy (1999) and also the prestigious Best Outgoing Student Award for the year 2003-04.
