Dr. Rasmi Johnson, Sr. Physician at AyurVAID Hospital, Ramamurthynagar brings 13 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor in Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery from the Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Thaikkattussery, Thrissur, Kerala. (Calicut University) and Master in Surgery in Ayurveda from S.D.M College of Ayurveda, Hassan. She has also trained in Kayachikitsa and Balachikitsa under Vaidyabhooshanam Raghavan Thirumulpad Chalakudy, Kerala.She specializes in Para surgical procedures, Kshara Karma (Caustic Cautery), Kshara Sutra (Caustic thread), Agni karma (Thermal Cautery) and Raktamokshana (Blood letting) for treating various surgical disorders. She is also expert in treating diabetic and diabetic complications, infertility, PCOD and joint disorders like sciatica,arthritis etc.Prior to AyurVAID, she worked as a Lecturer in the Dept. of Shalya Tantra, Ashwini Ayurveda College, Tumkur, and as a consulting doctor at Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala Agency in Mysore, Karnataka. She has also served as Medical Officer at Harisree Ayurvedic Hospital & Research Centre, Mannuthi, Thrissur, Kerala, in the Department of Panchakarma and Ksharasutra.Dr. Rasmi has also participated in international seminars and workshops at SDMCA&H, Hassan and presented several papers, including, “Ayurvedic approach to the diagnosis of Jalodara” in a Symposium on Udara Chikitsa, and the “Concept of Rasayana Chikitsa” in International level seminar held at Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College and Hospital Thrissur, Kerala.
