Dr. Radha Vasan is an expert Ophthalmologist, who is a specialist in the area of Vitreoretinal Surgery. Her key areas of interest are Corneal Diseases, Keratoplasty, Glaucoma and Squint as well as Vitreoretinal Diseases. After Graduating from Bangalore Medical College, Dr. Radha Vasan completed her MS from the Army Hospital (Research & Referral), Delhi. Her super specialty degree in Vitreoretinal Surgery (FVR) was received from the Retina Institute of Karnataka. She currently serves as a Consultant Vitreoretinal Surgeon at Karnataka Institute of Diabetology. Dr. Radha Vasan has served seven years as a Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in the Indian Army, which has greatly contributed and enhanced her skill and expertise as a Vitreoretinal Surgeon. During her service in the army, she has been posted in the border areas of Jammu & Kashmir during active operations as Casualty Medical Officer, also in the regular OPD services, as well as Medical Officer in Charge of ICU and Medical Wards.
