Dr.Pallavi Rao is Consultant Histopathologist; She completed her MBBS in March 2001, MD (Pathology) in May 2006 From King George Medical college Lucknow. Subsequently she obtained the European Board of Pathology and Fellowship of the Royal college of Pathology (UK). Dr.Pallavi Rao is currently working at Sakra world Hospital, Bangalore and have worked at two tertiary Histopathology Centres in UK (Hammersmith Hospital, London and at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff). She has gained experience in grossing techniques of complex specimens according to national datasets. She has vast experience in Histopathology, non Gynaecological Cytological specimens, and Gynaecological Cytology specimens.She has a special interest in gastrointestinal pathology, and has trained under Prof Geriant Williams, world renowned authority in gastrointestinal pathology.She has numerous publications to her credit in national and international journals.
