She has extensive experience in working in India, Australia and United Kingdom. She completed her medical schooling from Mysore medical college and did her post graduation at Kasturba Medical college, Manipal. She worked as a registrar in Melbourne Australia and obtained her MRCOG degree from United Kingdom. She is a member of the Royal college of obstetricians and Gynaecologists (Bangalore trust) and an active member of the BSOG, Bangalore.
