Dr Gurudatta pursued his passion for Yoga and qualified as a Physician in Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences at S D M College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore), in 1996. After graduating he was on an assignment to provide services at the Jainarayan Aroghyadham, Jabalpur. After this assignment he was given the responsibility of setting up the Basava Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Bangalore.
