I have qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2009 from Manipal University, Karnataka and have pursued my higher education and completed a MSc in Neurorehabilitation in 2011 from Brunel University, London UK. I have recently joined Nightingales Home Health Services as a Lead for Stroke Management. I have been a part of two community based stroke rehabilitation projects in Manipal University. I got the opportunity to use transcranial magnetic stimulation during my dissertation to study the effects of ageing on the brain in Brunel University.I have received training for joint assessments and joint steroid injections under a specialized physician in London. I have received hands on training in different stroke rehabilitation approaches. I have worked at The Stag Holyrood Surgery, London for 2 years assessing residents in Geriatric Care Homes, developing protocols, doing clinical audits and working closely on care quality commission and quality of framework registers. I have worked in one of the largest Dementia Care Facilities in India, Nightingales Centre for Ageing and Alzheimer’s for a brief period.
